The Last Battle

What happens after the last battle? The very last time you have to fight a thing in your mind, The last time you must use truth to counter lies The last time you cannot see what you know is right in front of you? What happens after you've conquered the enemy, Or rather seen that the enemy was already conquered, Has always been conquered By Yahweh-Who-Is And was shown to be defeated on a cross Long before you were born What happens when you realize he is gone? When you can see the Reality of Yahweh and all that He has done for you And in you, And now can do through you What happens when you stop fighting death And fearing death, And other things that really do not exist, Don't matter In the light of Yahweh's day, In the glory of the new dawn, The sunrise over New Jerusalem And you can see that everything you were ever afraid of Is but a shadow of a memory of an idea in the darkness Totally obliterated by light What happens when you renew your mind?

The Stable (Inspired by "The Last Battle")

Thrown into a stable, the portal of another world The dwarves did refuse to believe When all the faithful saw the beauty of the new The dwarves did themselves deceive And oh we did laugh when we read of their fate For we wouldn't make such a choice We can see clearly what's right in our face! We're not as stupid as dwarves! But what if we've been in the stable all along For did Yahshua not end the fight When He died on a cross and righted all wrongs When He brought the world back to His light Just like the dwarves, deceived in our minds, We have chosen not Heaven to see When it's all around us, this beauty and light And all things Yahshua's redeemed So come further up now and yet further in! There is so much more to see! We can explore the fullness of Heaven When we have the faith to believe!

Another Poem of Praise

Only Yahweh Can take total depression, isolation, loneliness, anxiety, and fear And make a wonderful, Real person who lives in His Love His joy His peace His communion His Body Him, Him, Him Only Yahweh can take what is not Him and make it Him, Use it to show us Him Revealing there's only Him And those other things fade away into non-existence And again there's only Him Yahweh is all there is. Oh HalleluYah!

Lines on a Winter's Day

Oh how I love days like today: cloudy, overcast, and gray And when I need at least three blankets around me to keep warm Oh how I love to see through the trees only because they haven't got leaves And the air so crisp and clear with so much beyond the horizon The beauty of winter is without compare, but many won't see it; they're not looking there They just don't understand the glories only winter holds They're waiting for summer and spring to arrive, missing a good portion of their lives Not knowing the joy that's right here in this day of wondrous gold So in the meantime, I'll look and I'll see, enjoying everything Yahweh's giving me In a day like today knowing He's always my Sovereign Lord I will embrace the cloudy and gray, knowing that it can't extinguish the flame, The burning passion of Yahweh's love that always keeps me from harm.

Seeds and Trees

There is no difference between seed and tree For all parts are then whole And everything that is to be Is now in Yahweh, One Somehow here in the Finished Work Is all that is and isn’t But spiritually we must discern What doesn’t have existence Then by faith we let it go For greater unity Then even all parts are hole And we have more to see The Finished Work is not out there It’s here within our Being It’s something that we have to share Here in our Unity.
